NASA

CHALLENGE

To provide a 3GPP network that closely replicates a solution to be deployed on the lunar surface supporting Astronauts training for Artimus Missions. NASAS plans to have NASA astronauts training on a terrestrial system that is dynamically able to deploy and adjust to provide different Extravehicular Activity (EVA) missions to be carried out on the moon.  â€‹

SOLUTION

A base station shall be deployed that is capable of adjusting to different proposed vehicular and structure deployments to the lunar surface that consist of a satellite connectivity to Johnson Space Center (JSC) for mission like conditions. From the base, astronauts will perform simulated EVA missions in terrain with objectives to train against for actual deployments. Each astronaut will be carrying their own decentralized SA 5G network that dynamically meshes with neighboring base stations in the lunar architecture. From the private 5G network, NASA will also utilize connectivity to attach various sensors and hardware for mission planning.

PRODUCTS USED

We are working together with Dell to provide edge computing platforms as well as Kymeta, Dejero, and Nokia all connected using RIDUX as the core management solution on all base stations.

FAA/PARSONS

CHALLENGE

Existing towers were outdated and did not allow FAA technicians to safely and efficiently service
their equipment.

SOLUTION

Erected a new 30–foot structure, that is OSHA compliant with staircases, a complete hand rail system and swing gate system for easy access for the FAA technicians to service their equipment safely and efficiently.

IOWA STATE FAIR

CHALLENGE

AT&T was lacking quality coverage at the fairgrounds, but they wanted a creative, stealth approach instead of a regular cellular tower.

SOLUTION

Erected a “stealth” water tower with the AT&T equipment inside hidden behind the panels to be more appealing to the fair goers.
